Application for Ordinary Members (Word) (PDF)

General information – Anyone who contributes to the progress of statistical sciences through theoretical or applied research, to the development of teaching of statistical disciplines or to the enhancement of statistical services can become Ordinary Member. Ordinary Members take part in the Society’s scientific activity, have voting right in Assemblies, can be appointed to all the offices and receive SIS publications according to the terms established by the Executive Board.

New Ordinary Members admission– Candidates to membership should send to the Society some general information, together with a Curriculum Vitae and a publications list. Candidates can be introduced by five Members, but in total or partial lack of the five Members’ signatures, application shall be examined by a Committee especially appointed by the Executive Board.

Ordinary Members appointment is up to the Executive Board which shall see to it at least once a year. Please, send the Application form for ordinary membership, along with CV and publications list, by email to:

Annual fee payment should be made within three months from acceptance communication as ordinary member.

Retired Ordinary Members (from the year after retirement): euros 40,00
Ordinary Members up-to-date with membership fee since at least 5 years: euros 70,00
Ordinary Members up-to-date with membership fee since at least 20 years: euros 65,00

Junior Ordinary Members (under 35 years): euros 100,00
