On 20 October 2025 was celebrated the fifteenth  Italian Statistics Day (GIS), promoted by Istat and SIS. This year the event coincided with the Fourth World Statistics Day, promoted by the United Nations and also supported by Eurostat and European institutions.

This edition came up with the slogan “Quality Statistics and Data for Everyone”, highlighting the importance of quality official statistics avalaible to all members of society, an essential tool for imformed data-based decisions both for the present and the future.
