Group Scientific Aims

The SIS group for Survey Sampling Methodologies was established within the Italian Statistical Society to help promoting and coordinating applied and methodological research on survey sampling in Economics, Social and Demographic Sciences, official statistics and in the study of biological and environmental phenomena.
Group's members undertake to cooperate with SIS and its groups both on a scientific and organizing level.
ITACOSM (ITAlian COnference on Survey Methodologies) is the S2G international biennial meeting. It is meant as a scientific discussion forum on the theoretical developments and the application of survey sampling methodologies in human and natural sciences.
