Covid-19 (EN)

This page, edited by the SIS Board of Directors, stems from the need to be able to contribute to the understanding of the COVID pandemic that has shocked Italy and the whole world in recent months. Following the many requests from members and colleagues, due to their grate activities in the SIS Forum, we decided to collect and select their works on the COVID on our website, to give updated and possibly useful information to members and all readers.

To facilitate reading in relation to the many publications, we have chosen to classify the works temporally, in order to show the evolution of research in recent weeks, and with respect to their typology, which we have simplified into three large groups : "Web, Apps, Interviews and Videos", "Numbers, Graphs and Disclosure Articles" and "Statistical Models and Forecasts". This page will be updated once or twice a week. Reports of relevant works from members and readers are welcome.

Communications and results disseminated are publicly accessible and under the responsibility of the authors. In addition, a lively discussion between SIS members and other researchers has been taking place on the SIS@stat.unipg.it Forum, edited by Luca Scrucca, since 11 March. The main topics under discussion concern the sources, analysis and modeling of COVID-19 data. Among the many, the announces of the President of SIS and of the President of the Italian Society of Biometrics should be noted.
